There's a big cheese plate and a homemade sponge with fruit and cream for dessert. What should the main dish be?
- Turkish red lentil soup with lemon
- Mushrooms on sourdough toast (are vegetarians tired of mushrooms for lunch?)
- Big salad nicoise (I make a really delicious anchovy dressing for this so it's more luxurious than it sounds)
- Roasted spiced cauliflower with crispy chickpeas and herby Greek yogurt
Or something else? I'm so indecisive.
