Have you gone from low energy to high energy?

I have some days where I'm high energy and get lots done but then it feels like I need 5 days to Potter around and just get the basics done.
I want to get more done consistently!
I could earn more money, have a cleaner home, read more books, go out more and look better. That's the life I want.

Anyone able to shed any light on this and give some tips please?

All the high energy people must've done a tone of things this morning. They're probably too busy to arse around mumsnet Blush

Hi @HighQueenOfTheFarRealm sorry I know you posted this a while ago but I find myself asking the same question these days.

Hopefully this will serve as a useful bump!

I treat my life like a Hiit workout and schedule times when I’ll be highly productive and then times when I’ll simply rest. e.g. I’d rather have a super productive three hours on a Thursday evening, and then need to do no life admin Fri-Sun. I’ll set a timer for tasks I don’t like e.g. 30 mins of ironing. To make the 30 mins more enjoyable I’ll wear a face mask and listen to a podcast, usually an informative one like now to invest money or health tips. Then I’m learning, pampering, doing - and all with a 30 min limit.

Sounds normal. Nobody can be high energy and enthusiastic all of the time.

It gets worse nearer menopause though, so maybe there's a hormonal element to it?

If it's bone-crushing exhaustion that comes on quickly though, get your bloods checked for any deficiencies.
