As the title. I need to cook them tonight, but forgot to soak overnight. I put them
In water and bicarbonate at 0630 this morning. Is there anything I can do to speed them up?

Yes, bring them to a boil for a few minutes then turn off and leave to soak until ready to use.

Awesome- thank you!

I usually pour boiling water on in the morning and just soak then for the day, @BaleOfHay , so they should be fine.

Leaving them overnight is the same as leaving them over the day. It doesn't matter if its night time or not! Leaving them from 630-tonight (5pm?) is still 10.5 hours.

Ah fine - thought they needed 24 hours soaking!
