We are missing hands from Shadow and Jams- does anyone know where I can get replacement hands? - I have a very upset 10 year old after someone else played too roughly with her dolls.

thanks so much

Contact the company that manufacture them? Scour charity shops for similar dolls and remove the parts you want? Ask on your local facebook group, someone's child may have outgrown their toys.

Ebay is your friend. You can buy replacements. Speaking from bitter experience...

I notice you want shadow and jams. Shadow has navy hands I think. I've just explained that the new hands are replacements so they won't match.

And @Octobed and @pleasecallmeback - have already put a plea on FB and currently emailing the co ([email protected], should anyone need it). Couldn’t see anything on eBay atm but will set up an alert.

There's a bundle of LOL dolls on eBay for spares and repairs and Ali Express also do spare parts - they are a bit of a dodgy company though.

Apparentlystillchilled · 04/04/2024 16:41

Cheers. Unfort already sold but I’ll set up an alert.

You could try the Facebook group "the missing piece - lovingly completing incomplete toys, games and puzzles"

Ali Express isn't a company that sells anything itself.

It's a website where Chinese manufacturers can sell their items directly to the public.

If one seller is "dodgy" you can bet there'll be another 20 selling the same item.

Edited

Are Temu and Wish all part of the same marketplace?

We found the hands amongst the Barbie accessories and shoes! Hallelujah! I’ll post an update if I manage to buy spare hands, in case anyone needs them in future.

I have zero experience of this brand, but why do the hands even come off?!

Because the clothes are incredibly difficult to get on and off with the hands still on. Sometimes easier to pull them off, put clothes on, and replace hands
