I was stuck in traffic today because of a bomb scare

Heading home on the a19 when I hit really bad traffic. Had to come the long way home through Hartlepool because the a19 was closed!

Just found out it was because of a bomb scare at a services on the a19!!!

Absolutely mad - genuinely feels like something from a movie or something!

We went on a coastal walk last year. We couldn't return the same way due to a bomb scare. Unfortunately, the mist came down and we had to navigate with little visibility over a large golf course.

Used to get them all the time in the late 80s. I worked in the head office of a city bank and we were often evacuated for these. We used to sit in the pub till we got the all clear - paid for by the bank!! 😂😂 Times have changed

I mean, it's Hartlepool - hardly the most exciting place ever so it was quite unexpected!

We must have got through about 10 mins before it all kicked off.
Saw absolutely nothing!

I thought it was an accident! Still slightly miffed that I had to come home the long way! 😂
