What is/was your favourite Easter egg?

I just love Lindt, always have and always will. But actually the Cadbury dairy milk one is pretty comforting. So much better chocolate in egg shape! I’ve had green and blacks before and that was good.

Any cadburys. Crunchie, Twirl or flake maybe. Has crunchie this year.

Northernsouloldies · 03/04/2024 21:02

Lindt definitely

TextureSeeker · 03/04/2024 21:04

I had a Malteaser one this year with bits of Malteaser in the egg. It was pretty good I have to say. I'm not a fan really of plain chocolate eggs, I get bored of them after a few bites.

Twirl orange

This sounds good!

I wonder if there are any half price ones left in the shops…

Has to be the chocolate buttons ones. I have unapologetically and greedily eaten the children's left overs. The bits that have sat uncovered and have finger marks all over. Gross I know.

DH bought some fancy eggs this year. They're delicious. But I still maintain Easter eggs should be bog standard Cadbury chocolate. None of this fancy stuff.

Xmasbaby11 · 03/04/2024 21:08

Twirl Orange!

the cadburys one was great as well.

I had the same one and I'm loving it!

@Newsenmum it's gorgeous, egg is orange as well as the twirl 😄

BonzoGates · 03/04/2024 21:13

ASDA Extra Special Extra Thick Honeycomb, Pretzel & Almond Milk Chocolate Easter Egg - twas lovely!

Gowlett · 03/04/2024 21:14

Cadbury. Or a posh, expensive one.

Favourite one was a Tesco Coconut Egg.
And the Hotel Chocolat thick one in a tin.

One of Life's Mysteries is why Easter egg chocolate is so delicious. I got a Lindt one from dh, a Malteasers one from dh and a Creme Egg one from mum. I am really enjoying them all!

Riverlee · 03/04/2024 21:26

Cadburys button ones with buttons INSIDE the egg.

MillshakePickle · 03/04/2024 21:31

Reese's all the way! Or hotel chocolate

Flapearedknave · 03/04/2024 21:35

Hotel Chocolat, eagerly awaiting my sale purchases 😆

Berlinlover · 03/04/2024 21:37

Any dark chocolate egg.

mynameiscalypso · 03/04/2024 21:41

@Newsenmum He bought one from a chocolatier called Melt. It had rave reviews but I'm not sure I see the point really!

Twirl orange

Oooh I have one unopened in the fridge!

I would go and get it but I'm comfy and it's a bit late for chocolate now.

HappyHappyy · 03/04/2024 21:44

I've just finished my Galaxy chocolate egg. Straight out of the fridge. Appreciate not for everybody but I think at nearly 40 that's been my best egg yet

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 03/04/2024 21:45

@YewandOak hope enjoy when you have it 😊

Mumaway · 03/04/2024 21:46

Mint Aero bubble one, because the whole egg is minty, and quite chunky.
