Having my coil out in a couple of weeks and I don't want another. Only ever had iud's so I'm completely clueless about pills, implants and injections.

I'm no help then- I have a mirena and I love it.

This is my second and have had one since 2017. It's been life changing for the better for me.

I’ve been on the mini pill since 2020. Not had a single period or symptom which is amazing as before I had awful PMDD. My only fear is what if it failed and then how would I realise as I don’t have periods to miss….

Mine has been great too but the last one I had fitted was a 6 month nightmare of pain and bleeding. Maybe I should just stick it out because in the long run, it has been worth it. Just don't know if I can put up with it again 😕

Abstinence - left my abusive ex over a year ago, not interested in meeting or being intimate with anyone else so no need for my implant anymore!

I do recommend the implant if you are sexually active - quickly put in, don't have to think about it for 3 years - bish bash bosh, done!

DSD9472 · 03/04/2024 15:31

None currently.

I was on the pill for years, but changed to the nuva ring and then the patch. Not affected by diarrhoea/vomiting which the oral pill can be, and you don't need to remember it daily. I was working shifts and travelling various time zones, so far more reliable than forgetting pills!

Favouritefruits · 03/04/2024 15:33

depo Injection that I do myself at home! Love it! It’s so convenient, no periods I don’t need to remember a pill just one small injection every 13weeks, my DR gives me a years supply at a time so no back and forth to the surgery.

CutthroatDruTheViolent · 03/04/2024 15:35

Vasectomy.

Him, not me, I'm a woman Grin
