Butlin's Skegness

We're just about to go to Butlin's in Skeg and I've seen that the pool is partially closed - on the app it says one visit per break. Surely that can't be correct?? It also looks like the only parts open are the rapids/slides and the baby pool: has anyone been recently (or is there currently!)? I have no idea what I'm going to do with disappointed DC if they can only go on the slides once for 75 minutes.

Hey, there's a Facebook group for butlins skegness, I'd recommend joining! You can only book one slot but then while you're there you can either book another slot on the app at 8am every day or go to the swim desk every morning. It's only 1 bookable pretrip to ensure everyone gets to go atleast once, they also have the circus and ice / roller skating for free to compensate for the pool. Hope that helped x

Thanks - unfortunately with the ages of the DC the ice skating is no use to us, and I suspect they'd be scared of the circus. We literally booked the break for the swimming!

Unfortunately yes it is just those little bits of the pool that are open. I went during Feb half term and ended up not using the pool at all because of it. Still had loads of fun though doing the other activities and went into Skegness for Natureland Seal sanctuary and the beach.

I was counting on the pool to occupy 2-3 hours a day and knacker them both out! Elder DC can do some of the shows and football, but I can't see anything that's suitable for younger DC (15 months).

They have soft play indoors and sky park outdoors if that helps.
