What height bedside tables?

We had a new kingsized bed delivered today and will be buying 2 new bedside tables at the weekend.
The tables we like come in 2 heights. One would sit at the same height as the bed/mattress and the other would sit appropriately 25cm taller.

Would you choose the bed height, or the slightly taller one?

Thanks in advance.

Personally I prefer taller
But it really is just personal preference
Can you measure out both sizes in a cardboard box to get a feel for it in your room ?

I prefer bed height, so when I’m lying down I can see the clock face. Also they lamp is level with my head when reading.

Can you get 2 boxes the same size and practise what you do with them (not meant as a joke) I mean do you turn to put a cup of tea on them, or a book/glasses etc. it may sound silly but the wrong height would be really annoying for me

Bed height.
Have tried both and bed height is better for t-rex arms.
We have t-rex arms in this house.
Also takes away the danger of twatting your head on the corners of things when thrashing about in the night (when having a too hot/too cold/too hot/too cold experience).
One drawback is that I've sometimes worked myself onto the top of the bedside table with my pillow whilst asleep. Act as a bed extension when DH has encroached on my side.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. After much deliberation, moving furniture around and endless measuring, we're going with the bed height ones.
