We are currently moving across the country and NEED to be in the new location by school starting in September at the latest.
For this reason we have been looking at new builds that are already built so we can control the time scale, but god they are expensive and small!
im scared if we buy a house in a chain then its too liable to fall apart and I can’t stand the stress, but if we went for a no chain house do you think we would have enough time? We can’t proceed with mortgage till the end of April, which will push things back a few weeks already.
would you stick with new builds or risk it?
