Would you be OK with being recorded?

I was doing some training for work on a live Teams call where all participants and trainer have their cam and microphone on and it's very discussion based. One of the participants couldn't come so the trainer casually said you don't mind if we record this do you for X to watch back? And then started to record.

Would you be OK with that?

In the good old days there would have been minutes written up of all meetings to refer back to. Recording is so much easier.

Are you concerned about saying something off the cuff that you wouldn't want recorded?

Standard practice these days IME!
