It’s good for a little bit, but then just drags.

Now that it's finished it's actually okay to watch in one go. I know what you mean though, I lost interest between seasons towards the end. Recently binged from the beginning to the end and enjoyed it more than I thought i would.

Oh yes absolutely delightful, a lovely binge watch (was very stressful for a while when no more were commissioned but thankfully it changed and we got closure). I’m jealous of those who get to watch it without having already seen it.

Loved it but did not like one of the character's story arc.

Oh yes. Many of my evenings when I went to bed was me fully inserting myself into the show as the detective. It was a very enjoyable couple of months as I worked through the series 😉

He is but tainted by the way he treated tamsin outhwaite which I always think about when I see him in the show.

Did she finally figure out his secret? That was the bit that dragged for me.

It's the end of season 3 you need. Absolutely stonking fanale. cancelled at that point unbelievably before Netflix took it up.

Agreed. Season two was a real slog especially the second half. Things really ramp up after netflix though and there's more supernatural stuff and less police stuff.
