Obviously due to current climate we haven't had decent snow in the UK for some years. I'd really like to have my DC (two boys, 12 and 8) to have one white xmas in their childhood. We don't ski, just want to gambol about in snow, sledge, snowball fights and see pretty snow landscapes.
Does anyone have any suggestions for Europe please? Switzerland is stunning but looks very expensive. Ideally somewhere we can hire a house with a log fire and a tv for a week.
