Drink 2L water a day.
Eat protein and veg with small amounts of complex carbs, no refined sugar or refined flour products or UPFs.

Do an hour a day exercise minimum and at least 3-4 times a week, make this quite strenuous. Weight-lifting is fantastic. Body weight work is also brilliant. Flow yoga is multi-tasking as it burns a lot of calories, whilst toning you, stretch your muscles to keep them supple (which weight training absolutely doesn't) and also improves your posture.

Facial yoga (free workouts on line) tone up the double chins a bit. On the day, to take focus away from your chin, accentuate eye make up over lips, and style hair so it doesn't draw attention to the jawline.

A week before your birthday, get brows threaded, new cut and colour, a gentle facial. Maybe some light facial tanning oil too or a subtle spray tan. The day before get a mani and pedicure.

Buy a new outfit that is absolutely right for you in shape and colouring.
What shape, height, size and colouring are you? (Tall apple shaped brunette? Short pear shaped blonde? Fair skin, dark skin?) Loads of people on S&B here are good at finding perfect outfits for different shapes.

Buy yourself a copy of the Human Being Diet by Petronella Ravenshear… read it cover to cover twice (this is important - to read it is to really properly understand it) and then embark on plan… you will be transformed in 8 weeks and will look (and more importantly, feel….) transformed….. Helped me and most of my friends drop weight and deal with menopausal symptoms, skin issues, gut issues, joint issues, sleep issues, bloating… it is just brilliant for peri menopausal/menopausal women… I did it before my 50th 3 years ago and haven’t looked back (haven’t put any weight back on in 3 years…) and have never felt better… there is also a really good instagram community to tap into for support. Couldn’t recommend it more… 8 weeks is definitely time to make a significant difference but you need to get on with it, put yourself first and get the rest of the fam to feed themselves for a while while ‘you do you’!!!!!

No alcohol, not a drop. 😁

Fast 800 diet and 30 Days Shred for exercise. You'll notice the difference in 2 weeks. By 8 weeks you'll be a goddess.
If you stick to it.

Hair cut and colour
Pedi/ mani

Good to go.

Hydrate, exercise, rest, good moisturiser, good cleanser and toner, take fish oil if you're not veggie (it plumps the skin), take micronutrients including selenium (helps nail brown strong) do oil treatments on hair and scalp before washing. Get makeup that properly suits you including decent undereye concealer, get a new haircut and/or colour if you can afford it. Choose clothes in colours and styles that make the most of your figure, hope you feel better soon OP and have a lovely birthday!

I have just read the reviews which seem very good but not certain it’s for me. Don’t really want to spend £15 on the book and find I can’t do it due to work, kids, cost etc. If I see it second hand anywhere I will pick it up!
