I have ordered the series 5 washing machine which is meant to be arriving on Wednesday. I’ve now got cold feet as I’ve read their parts are poor quality and their after sales service is very poor. There is a five year guarantee, but not much use if you can’t get hold of them.
I’ve now ordered a Zanussi but it won’t arrive till next week. I just don’t know what to do.
Looked at AEG but some people report having faulty machines from the off and apparently Zanussi and AEG are run by the same company.

Please help! I can refuse the Samsung when it’s delivered.

About to replace mine after 8 years (at least 10 loads a week) of solid service. I think that's pretty good and I'll probably just get a new one.

We’ve been really pleased with ours’. Going strong and with sporty teens and rural life it gets very heavy use. So nice to have a little cabaret act in the utility room too!

What do those who live theirs love about it? The tune doesn’t matter to me.

  • that it weighs the load at beginning of cycle so adjusts time taken,
  • turns itself off
  • fairly quiet even on 1400 spin cycle
  • service wash prompt kicks in every 40 mins washes so you don't need to remember

All very positive.

Mine also has a 59 min cycle which gets stuff clean, I hear bad stuff about some machines where the shortest wash is like 3 hours. I think there may even be a fast cycle which is something like 30 mins but I’ve never used it.

Yes I had a Bosch that took three and a half hours to do every wash. Is the delicates cycle good?

I use the daily wash cycle that takes just over an hour. There's a 15 minute wash too, though by the time I've added a faster spin and the 30 degree option, it ends up just under 30 minutes.

The 1 hour 6 min wash cycle on my Ecobubble works wonders on filthy riding kit, freshening up dog blankets, swimwear and school uniform. It’s brilliant- I rarely use a longer cycle nowadays.

Anymore feedback?
