How to access antibiotics Spain

Dd thinks her throat is hurting again which needed antibiotics last time with white spots.

How do we access this on Spain please eg can we go into pharmacy or do we need doctor thanks.

I'd start with a pharmacy and explain her symptoms. If you're in a tourist area the pharmacist will likely speak English.

You'll need a prescription for ABs in Spain.

Ask at the hotel… they sent a doc to me in the summer hol who prescribed ABs in my room!

How old is dd? If she only 'thinks' her throat is hurting doesn't sound like she need antibiotics, unless that's a typo?

Do you have a European health card? If so you should be able to treatment at any clinic.

If not go to a private clinic, you'll have to pay but travel insurance will reimburse you. Use Google translate if your Spanish isn't great
