People eating grapes

Does anyone else find it really irritating?

I’m tolerant of most things, but it’s the noisiest, most irritating noise ever!

You are weird, can’t get the issue with ppl eating grapes. It’s no different to any other fruit

Surely they aren't as noisy as a juicy peach or plum or the crunch of an apple? At least the grape is fully within someones mouth, so unless they are chomping with their mouth open, its quieter than other fruit. 😕

Much quieter than carrots, celery or apples surely?

What noise? Grape eating is a silent occupation in my experience hitherto, and I'm nearly 70.

My husband smashes food down like a starving labrador but even he eats grapes quietly.

I'm intolerant of a lot of bad eating habits but eating grapes is not one of them and can't see why it would be a problem

Never noticed any noise with grapes.
Watermelon, cereal, noodles are my irritants.

I don't think I've been in anyone's company who is eating grapes other than my own family. My sister used to peel them which was annoying.

Grapes are fine, cherry tomatoes are not.

I’m with you. It sounds like DH is popping tiny skulls when he eats grapes. Each bite is like a small brain being popped.

I think whoever you are listening to is a noisy eater

I love a nice juicy pear, but too noisy to eat in company. Grapes are OK though.

My DH has an apple every evening, that’s fine it’s good for him, whatever makes him happy, but the noise, all the crunching, he drowns out the tv !

I work with 2 people that eat an apple every day - I have to get up and walk away! 🤣

Yes they crunch like eating eyeballs or something. Not that I know what that’s like.
