We have been so looking forward to our short break in Suffolk. Had a tough few months and have had it booked for almost a year. Have spent weeks prepping autistic DC for it - they're fine about it, even slightly looking forward to it. We've taken time off work - so hard for DH and I to get time off together.
I realised a few days ago that we'd not had confirmation or any prep information so emailed the holiday letting company. They've just told me that they have moved all their properties to another company. I contacted the new company. They've told me that my booking is showing up as cancelled. That was literally their response.
I've emailed back to ask them to look into it but I know how it's going to go. Someone effed up somewhere. And to be honest even if we find somewhere else at this late point - which is unlikely - I don't think I have the energy to go through it all again with DC. I've had to print out picture timetables and information sheets and I'm just exhausted.
Just posting to vent really. I've fought so many battles these past few months I've not the energy to fight another one 😞
