I've seen quite a few threads over the years discussing weird or unwanted substitutions people have received through online shopping, and I thought it would be interesting to hear about the best substitutes you've had.
I'll start with mine. I ordered a small cheap roasting dish from ASDA, I think it was about £1.50 at the most. It was unavailable so they sent me a large enamel roasting dish.
Today I used it, as I do two or three times a week. As I was cleaning it I realised that I've had it for over a year and it still looks like new! Its definitely turned out to be the best substitution I've had, it cooks food perfectly and is so easy to clean 😊
