Ideas needed of what to buy

A good friend is starting a job as a community nurse soon. Any ideas on what are good practical gifts?

im thinking pens, notepad, new coffee flask but then I’m all out of ideas. Have about £100 to spend as it’s a gift from a group of us.

A car boot organiser . We got one for my mum as she works in the community as a nurse . So the boot was tidy and she was organised , but it could be taken out easily.

Good hand cream to counteract all the hand sanitiser
Contigo thermos for coffee (they are amazingly leak proof, mine gets thrown in my handbag and bounced about all over the place)
Thermal food flask for hot lunches while out and about

Community therapist here...

Nice bento tin or Sistema kit for lunches, including small pots for sauces, maybe an icepack too
Water bottle that fits in a car cupholder, not too big or tall
Beautiful B5 notebook - much better than A5 - something prettier than she'd buy herself
WHSmiths recently had some really cute pens like pigs, cows etc

Having said that, does she use a stethoscope? A personally engraved Littmans stethoscope in a nice colour is what I bought myself starting this job.

Or an engraved fob watch.

I knew you lot would know the answers. I’d not thought of any of these ideas. She has an expensive stethoscope already so not sure she’d need another

a fob watch would be great. She currently works in a different role in the hospital and doesn’t have a watch

also the hand cream and alcohol gel is a good idea.

will have a look at the coffee flasks mentioned. A non leaking one would be great. Also the boot organiser sounds good.

So many great ideas here, already, I was going to suggest a coffeу flask as well, definitely go for this one, OP! Maybe she will also like a personalized planner with pictures of friends or family or pets? Not too many, of course, it should be practical in the first place, but it could be really heartwarming.

Any other ideas? Looking for a couple more suggestions please. Have started making a hamper of gifts.

right I’ve got the flask, hand cream, hand gel, water bottle, notebook and pens, fob watch.

is there anything else community nurses use that would be useful to get? She’ll also be studying as well.
