I've never really got into podcasts but I often hear people raving about them. So I'm looking for suggestions please to ease me into the magical world of Podcastery! My interests are gardening, womens issues, history, general interest really. Thank you.

Betwixt the Sheets
Rex Factor
the ancients
Not just the tudors
After dark
Gone medieval
History is sexy

Wow, loving the Rex Factor - that would have made such a difference to my A level European history exams! And Betwixt the Sheets - well we never studied anything quite like that at school 😁. Thanks for your recommendations!

‘Just One Thing’ by Dr Michael Mosley (15 mins each) on BBC Sounds, about just one thing you can do at a time to improve your health and wellbeing. (Eg. Exercise / sleep / diet / health tips ) There is also ‘Just One Long Thing’ which is the longer version.

If ever you’ve fancied yourself as a writer try ‘the failing writers’ podcast.

There's a good series on BBC sounds about the Captain Tom charity fiasco.

Do you know what it is called please, struggling to find it?

Found it very easily on sounds app. Spotify wasn’t playing ball.

I'm very interested in having the way I think challenged. I don't mix with as wide a spectrum of people as I used to and it's very easy to get into a routine mindset. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thank you! This podcast is the talk of my yoga class, I'll be able to chat knowledgeably about it now.
