I won a competition....

So my cousin works in a shop.
They had a competition to win an Easter hamper -which includes 8 Easter eggs ,4 boxes of chocolates and other Easter chocolate treats.
All you had to do was like and share to your story on instagram.
I did (as well as 250 others )
And she said today that I won
They did the random number generator and it was me.
I can't help think she did this till my name came out-there was two of them taking part on the random generator (1 spinning and 1 filming )
I feel a bit bad collecting the prize
Do I tell her to re draw it ?
Or collect it ?
I mean I might have just been lucky enough to win (she says I was the first one drawn )
So who am I to question it -but I'm never lucky or win anything

Well she says you've won so it's either you happily accept the prizes (which i would do) or accuse your cousin of lying and rigging the competition. Choosing the latter could cause a big fall out in your relationship. Why do you assume she has fixed it? 250, entrants isn't really a lot.

They could have rigged it, but that's a bloody long time to keep re-clicking and re-filming if there were 250 entrants. That's a lot of hassle for a hamper of chocolate.

I doubt they'd have fixed it as its just chocolate

if they have fixed a comp where you win some easter eggs op…. they obviously think you can’t afford a few quid to spend on chocolate!
