How often do you feel nauseous?

For the past week I keep having waves of nausea (unusual for me). This morning is particularly bad.

I'm hugely emetophobic so this really stresses me.
I'm wondering how normal it is just to get bouts of nausea outside of illness.

Most days but this is due to medication.

Almost never. Maybe once a year.

When I do, I rely on fresh air, and drink warm water with a slice of lemon to clear it. Crisp & clean.

Can you narrow down the cause to a type of food? Overly hot environment?

Or overload of odours? Some of the few things that makes me nauseous are the smell of fabric softener and the smell of hot cooking oil. Of sweaty humanity on a packed tube train?

@Meadowfinch it just seems to come on really randomly this week.

Today I've woke up with it but other times of the week it'd come on really sudden and out of the blue.

Low blood sugar makes you nauseous. If you're waking with it you might just need a quick bite to eat to engage the stomach acids, I often do. I keep a bite to eat by the bed and occasionally wake early, eat a bit, go back to sleep.
Could it be this OP?

Every 2 weeks

@heldinadream possibly! As the other times do seem to be through the day between meals when working when I haven't ate in a good few hours.

Hope it helps! Some people can get hungry but still feel basically ok, some people it definitely tends to induce nausea. Carry a snack! 🧀🌮🍿😄

Oat cakes are quite good for in-between times I find
