Anybody else had this awful dizziness?

I'm on week 2 now of on and off extreme dizziness, hot and cold sweats, nausea. I seriously don't know what to do with myself at this point!

I was out earlier, waiting at the counter in a coffee shop for my order when everything went completely black, almost fuzzy / static and I had to hold onto the countertop to keep myself upright. I've never fainted before, but I honestly felt like I was going to fall down like a sack of potatoes at any moment! The lovely barista took me over to a table to sit down, and after 45min - 1hr I felt better. She said i went white as a sheet several times, and I was hot and cold and really clammy.

I had 2 days of extreme dizziness last week too, and felt nauseous. I was off work as I couldn't focus my eyes on anything! The room felt like it was spinning. Literally.

I am a fairly healthy 26 year old. No medical conditions, but I have had a gastric sleeve back I. 2022 and now have monthly iron injections (B12)

Other than this I'm absolutely fine.

I made the (maybe silly mistake) of googling and I've found a plethora of TikTok conspiracy videos of many people having these exact same symptoms, weird dizziness etc.

I just wondered if anybody has experienced the same recently, or have any ideas as to what this could be?

B12 and iron are not the same - have you had your iron levels checked lately? I had some severe dizzy spells lately and turns out I had high blood pressure, bloods also showed I was low in iron and folate. I have been prescribed iron and folate tablets and have to bump up my exercise and time spent not being stressed (ha!) to try and lower my BP, with a review after 3 months.

You should definitely get yourself checked out though, nobody can diagnose you over the Internet.

Labyrinthitis? I had this years ago to the extent of severe vomiting and bumping into walls, and had to have anti-nausea medication such as used for chemo patients - lower dose of course. I couldn't drive for a month.

It's very variable from days to months. I never had it again.

See a doctor.

I used to get dizzy spells. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and now take medication for it.
I no longer get the dizzy spells.
Go and see a doctor.

You really need to see your GP. I've had vertigo but only lasted a few days. You need some medical advice. You shouldn't be driving.

Not me but it sounds similar to Meniere's disease. Look it up and see if it rings any bells. My mother suffered from it. It' not serious but warrants a trip to the GP.

Intense dizziness and faintness are symptoms of my panic disorder. Could be anxiety?

Also sounds like low blood sugar / a hypo

Can also be a Covid symptom, especially with more recent strains.
