Any dentists around?

DS2 is losing teeth on a daily basis just now but yesterday I noticed that you can see the base of one of the new ones poking through the gum above. Is this anything of concern or will it sort itself out?

Nothing to worry about , the strip of gum will go between the two spots as the tooth comes through.

Not a dentist but do you mean the baby tooth is there and the new one is also coming down? If so, my DD had this. They called it shark teeth! But baby ones fell out pretty quick.

No the baby tooth has gone the tip of the adult tooth is through and the base of the adult tooth is through with a small strip of gum between the two which will eventually go as the tooth comes completely down into place.
