Help me plan a night away on a budget around Manchester /NW please?

I want to surprise DH with a night away for his birthday but haven't got a flush budget.

A film he likes comes out in May so I thought we would do cinema and just something to eat.

But I'd like a nice hotel room. Not just a travel inn or something.

We've not had a night without the kids in over a decade so I'd like to surprise him with a nice night together if you catch my drift.

But again I've not even bought a new bra in 3 years so am stumped on that too 😂

BTW we live in Manchester and we could go further afield. He does drive

Budget for the hotel for 1 night is 150ish x

I went to the old Mill in Ramsbottom recently for a big birthday, I think it was £120 between three of us and for that we got wine tasting , two course evening meal , and cooked breakfast, and use of the pool .
