Help! Left DS antibiotics at nursery!

Just realised that we’ve left DS antibiotics at nursery - he’s only half way through the course. We are on our way to our holiday destination and tomorrow is a bank holiday. Anyone have any experience of this happening and have a solution?!

I was thinking of a) calling 111 and seeing if they can arrange a prescription or b) taking the nhs app to boots in the morning and asking the pharmacist if they can help. Not sure either will work - any advice or similar experiences would be helpful!!

Yes call 111 they will arrange a prescription

I would call 111. I’m pretty sure they can arrange emergency prescriptions

Pharmacists can dispense emergency medication in these situations.

(I once left my asthma inhalers and eight hour drive away).

Call 111 and see what they advise, no point waiting until morning in case the pharmacy day call 111. The pharmacy might help, but I wouldn't wait 15 hours to find out tbh

Thanks all. The local Boots pharmacy was open today despite the bank holiday and they sorted it straight away! Much easier than expected And DH not feeling quite so guilty that he forgot now.
