A longstanding mumsnetter, a good one (not me) is currently in hospital, it's quite serious with unpleasant interventions, although she is being very blasé about it all. She is so bored that she has resorted to responding to WORK EMAILS.

Please post any funny stories/memes/get well wishes to cheer her up that you can.

Doctor has just been. I can go home if I want. He gave me the option to stay and I was ‘hell no’.
