A longstanding mumsnetter, a good one (not me) is currently in hospital, it's quite serious with unpleasant interventions, although she is being very blasé about it all. She is so bored that she has resorted to responding to WORK EMAILS.

Please post any funny stories/memes/get well wishes to cheer her up that you can.

(I won't name her unless she says I can)

thanks @DramaAlpaca and everyone else. Am getting there. Definitely much better than I was even this morning. Still a bit of debate about when they might let me out.

@EndlesslyDistracted virtually the only thing that has been missing this week is several visits a day by my GP. You’d think she was treating other patients.

Sadly no Facebook for whoever asked. I can’t remember my password and am only logged in on devices I don’t have with me.
