Not got my item but seller has photo proof

I ordered a hammer and nails from eBay. It was marked as delivered a few days ago but I hadn’t got it so I sent a message to the seller to ask which address it was delivered to. They replied with photo proof of me accepting a parcel at the door.
the thing is the parcels I have gotten so far were all pictures I’d bought from another seller. I open all my parcels as I get them so it’s not like I’ve just put it somewhere. I don’t understand how they’ve got this photo.

Did they send you the photo? I assume it's definitely you and a parcel? Can you see the parcel and identify what it was?

How could they have got the photo if it didn't come from an item they had shipped to you?

So you've been photographed accepting several parcels, but the parcel you are querying wasn't one of them, and this photo has been attached to the tracking as delivery proof for the parcel you haven't received?
EBay will find in the sellers favour if you raise a request, as far as they're concerned tracking says delivered. To be fair to the seller unless the picture is very clear, or their packing distinctive, they may well think you're trying it on too.
