For a long tone DS was aggressive and violent towards me. We begged for help from CAMHS and they kept rejecting. Until Ds tried to end his life they suddenly wanted to know. And started seeing him. At one point I did kick ds out because his aggression and violence got to much . I also had to protect myself and my other children. He ended up at his sisters for about a month. Social services worked with us and he came back home. He has got better compared to what he was.

Hes been diagnosed with emotional dysregulation.

Hes not been in education since year 9. We have tried college and other courses and he just stops going. And does not engage. He's meant to be doing a course with a charity but he hardly gos they have now agreed he can go in Just to do the tests.

Hes never engaged in other help /support only one he has been ok with is he's CAMHS person that he going to see and he has been messing about with that recently to.

Hes 17 now and I'm worried that once he turns 18 I won't be able to afford to have him living at home. He's not going to get a job. He will mess up UC because they will be telling him to get a job yjem he will be sanctioned . I won't get benefits for him anymore . I won't get single person council tax. The help I get with my rent will get cut as well. Because he will be an adult.

Once he's 18 there will be no duty to him housing wise.

Communication with him is extremely hard. He does not listen to anything just over talks me all the time. And then gets aggressive etc but he's also vulnerable and I don't want to just kick him out.

He gets upset when I point out you Need to do xyz or it will have knock on effects of other things I mentioned above. He says things like yes I am . I will do it. I am . It's hard you don't understand etc etc . But hes not doing anything since year 9.

I don't think he's ready to leave CAMHS. He's not even doing the things he needs to . To make sure he has the bare minimum needed for life.
