Rash below bottom lip

Hello, I have a sore rash on my lower lip. It is red and spreads down from my bottom lip. I used to have something similar around my nostrils. The doctor prescribed me fusidic acid cream which cleared it up but then it came back on my bottom lip. I went back to the doctor and got another prescription for the same cream. The cream gets rid of it for a few days/weeks/months before it comes back.

Does anyone know what this rash could be or what could be causing it?

Could it be this?

If so, then pimecrolimus cream should help and you may need a course of antibiotics - it's a very long course though.

Does it itch? I've had a similar problem for the last 9 weeks. I saw a pharmacist on the weekend who said go to the GP. I just haven't had time so far. My top lip is the same. But the itching is horrendous.

I actually had a rash by nostrils, too. I needed antibiotics in the end.

It could be candida. Youll need antifungals xx

It is more sore than itchy.

I get a yeasty rash on my face if I drink Prosecco (which I avoid now). I've forced in the past by taking a flucanazole tablet.
