Daisy jones and the six, the book...

I thought I would love this (I know I'm late...) but I just can't seem to get into it. Its not grabbing me at all. I'm about 20% through and I can't help but think life's too short to carry on..is it worth carrying on??

Not really tbh. It's pretty predictable and the pace doesn't change much

The different voices works better on the tv series in my opinion. It is hard to get to grips with when reading it.

Oh I'm glad it's not me. I hate giving up on a book.

The same author wrote the Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo which is a much better read!

I read it before the tv show and really enjoyed it. I was on holiday though so I tend to get quite stuck into books when I have time on my hands.

Such a dull read

I’ve just finished it and really enjoyed it, but you’re right - life’s too short. Plenty more books on the shelf!

I thought it was boring, the interview style just didn't work for me. I didn't love The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo either, it was just OK imo.

I listened to the book on audible and thought it was great. Each character had their own narrator so it really made sense and all the emotions came through. I love an audible book!

A few of my friends found the reading style quite hard going in the book.

I liked it as an audio book, (although I preferred Evelyn Hugo over Daisy Jones).

Hearing it read in different voices made it flow much better, I don't think I'd have enjoyed the book as much.

No, and Evelyn Hugo is not worth it either. So predictable and tedious
