My husband has just bought me some AirPods for commuting to work (was moaning about the annoying people who listen to videos, sometimes on a loop, out loud on their phones) and now looking for some podcast recommendations…

True crime, gritty, mystery, funny, interviews, informational, I’m open to them all…

What do you enjoy listening to?

I absolutely love listening to help I sexted my boss by William Hanson & Jordan North. It's funny, rude, sad, heartwarming all at once, but beware some of the stories that people write in with are absolute filth

I quite like the Dateline NBC podcast which is true crime. The Life Changing podcast is amazing. And Food for Thought with Grace Dent is a good one. Quite like Desert Island Discs too. DH and DD like the Infinite Monkey Cage.

I don't know if I imagined it but I'm sure there used to be a podcast topic on here where you could read through all the old threads, I had some good recommendations from those although a lot of the ones that came up every time weren't my cup of tea

My dad wrote a porno must have been recommended on every single thread for example

If it still exists its a good source of suggestions, I see several similar threads below (on my phone anyway) that might help

I'm not sure which one was worse, that one or the girl who found the box under her parents bedShock

Sometimes I do wonder if people send in made up stories now for the shock factor, but I do think the majority of them are genuine

My Dad Wrote a Porno is hilarious but I'm not sure it's suitable for a commute, I had tears streaming down my face listening to it.

I like tortoise media especially Sweet Bobby and Hoaxed.

I also like crime junkie and the trial (which is a daily mail podcast that covers high profile court cases as they happen such as Lucy Letby)

I've also just gotten into bad people and true crime enthusiast.
