I slept on a jumper and have woken up with a massive crease down my face . I look like Blofeld and no amount of No7 is making it go away. Help ! What will work?

Surely it will just disappear in a little while?

PoochiesPinkEars · 26/03/2024 14:55

Time. Could put a hot flannel over it to get the blood flushed in to replump quickly?.

Yes it will. But if I can speed it up before I go out to a school performance tonight that would be Marvellous.!!.I look about 15 years older and it's been 7hrs since I woke up. I think it's caused by a loss of elasticity in the skin due to age , but anything I can do to make it bounce again would be fab!!

I have a permanent pillow mark on my forehead, when you get older, the skin does not plump back! 🙄

Oh no have you to be anywhere ? Try some face oil and just leave it to settle. I use blue Nivea shifts everything

Thingsthatgo · 26/03/2024 15:02

Steam gets creases out of clothes... maybe it'll work on your face!

Oh ! Can you just shove make up over it ? Also Try and drink some water see if you can hydrate your face.

DoIdriveaVauxhallZafira · 26/03/2024 15:03

Water, moisturiser and some gentle massage

Exercise - get the heart rate uk and blood pumping

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 26/03/2024 15:04

Could you use the pillow case as a sort of hood until the crease goes? You will of course need to cut a couple of eye holes. It worked for the elephant man - he went about completely unnoticed (I think).

TeacherHarri · 26/03/2024 15:21

Silk pillows for the future.

For now, have a nap on the other side of your face to try to even up the lines.

Reminds me of the time I woke up with one, it was so convincing I thought it was my first wrinkle......... My mum lived in an other country, no WhatsApp in those days so I rang my newly acquired MIL, to share the horror.... 😂 To which she replied..... I am surprised that you could find it amongst the fat. 😱 Reader, I was nine stone but had made the fatal mistake of putting on weight on honeymoon all four pound of it.

Took a while of a few more comments like that but it was all downhill from there once DH and I realised that she was a cow. 🐮

Alwaysalwayscold · 26/03/2024 15:23

Tip your head upside down to get the blood into it?

Possibly. I'm willing to give it a shot and at least I won't get hiccups at the same time 😀

Winner, and it doubles up as brolly 🌂

Yes, and should you wish to join the Klu Klux Klan...well you can work the rest out for yourself.

Do NOT iron your face!! ❌

Pillowfights · 26/03/2024 18:30

Which method did you try @Diddlydays and did it work?

Asking for a friend.....

Diddlydays · 26/03/2024 18:53

Nothing has worked yet , but it's less apparent. I think exercise might've worked , though a nap sounded more appealing! Or a dishwasher steam facial. I've pinched it and splashed it but alas it's too stubborn.

Could you just kind of use a pen to trace the line and draw some kind of picture, like a temporary tattoo? Post a pic of the line, and we'll make some suggestions...

Pixit · 26/03/2024 23:36

Yes maybe something like this.

Somethingsnappy · 27/03/2024 09:30

Perfect!

OP, did it behave itself in the end?

TeaAndStrumpets · 27/03/2024 09:35

Polyfilla, I think they do a flexible one? Ask at B & Q, they are always helpful.
