A feel good thread who is the nicest person you know and a joy to be around?

My Dad - he has never said a bad word about anyone, always willing to help others and I have never even heard him swear!

Queijo · 26/03/2024 14:21

My best friend. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body, never angry unless justified, can always see the good in a situation. Easy to laugh, will help you in anyway if she can. I count my lucky stars every day that I get to be a part of her life!

Throwawayme · 26/03/2024 14:22

My sister is just lovely and absolutely the nicest person I've ever met

AffIt · 26/03/2024 14:24

My OH - the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man I've ever met, apart from my late father.

Everybody loves him, especially animals, small children and old ladies. I have literally never heard anybody say a bad word about him.

The worst thing I can think to say about him is that he leaves used teabags in the sink...

SevenSeasOfRhye · 26/03/2024 14:24

Me.

(Joking. I don't think there's any one person I'd single out above others).

hangingonfordearlife1 · 26/03/2024 14:26

my husband

EdithStourton · 26/03/2024 14:29

A neighbour of mine. Kind to everyone, generous, charitable, patient, very rarely a bad word for anyone (and then it is entirely justified).

I'm very lucky to know her and have her as a friend.

My boys

SiriAlexa · 26/03/2024 14:31

My gorgeous mum. She is so lovely and kind, through and through.

SusanSHelit · 26/03/2024 14:33

Probably my good friends mum. She is the least judgmental, most supportive woman I know. She supported me as much as my own blood relatives did when I left my abusive ex. Her door is always open, and she is just a truly beautiful person. I can absolutely see where my friend gets all of his good qualities from

My own mum is incredibly supportive too, but she is a good bit more judgmental, though she would never admit it.

DrunkenElephant · 26/03/2024 14:34

My two children. They are genuinely the kindest, most caring people I know. They obviously get it from me 😂

Dearg · 26/03/2024 14:34

My nephew. He is so very thoughtful.

PersonalityofaVacuum · 26/03/2024 14:35

My dog.

Comfyonion · 26/03/2024 14:36

Probably my sister in law. She is so lovely and positive, generous and thoughtful

AGodawfulsmallaffair · 26/03/2024 14:37

My mate Corrine - my ds is pretty decent too 😊

PlantDoctor · 26/03/2024 14:46

My mum is a wonderful person. She just brought round a magazine for DD and offered to take her out as I'm not feeling too well. She will help anyone and has been vegan for many years to protect animals. Very lucky to have her 😊

OkPedro · 26/03/2024 14:51

My beautiful niece.. She's 25 and just radiates sunshine ☺️ She's so upbeat, so much fun and intelligent. I always feel better after spending time with her. She's a truly good person

SallyWD · 26/03/2024 14:51

I think my mum is pure goodness. She doesn't seem to have an ego, she is just humble and kind. Her life has been difficult but she's never complained. So much of her time is dedicated to others. I have never met anyone as kind as her.

Love this 💜 My Mam always said if you have one true friend you're very lucky

Gonnagetgoingreturnsagain · 26/03/2024 14:55

Not me that's for sure. My DM probably but she has her down/off days.

One of my best friends (sadly died) was one of the nicest people I knew, but she had a bad drink problem and mental health issues too.

There was also a girl I went to school with and knew for about 2-3 years. She had depression issues (parents mostly caused this) but she was one of the nicest people I knew, her mum was horrible to her and she was just so nice. In the end I think she married young to get away from her mum but I hope she was happy and her family didn't depress her too much.

SayFuckTheLemonsAndBail · 26/03/2024 14:57

A few of my friends are extremely kind, but I would say my little sister.

She's incredibly generous. She would stop to help anyone in the street if they needed help. She missed an entire performance she'd paid a lot of money to attend once to help someone had a medical issue. She's an amazing mum. She's also tiny but a little terrier and I don't doubt she'd fight a full grown man if she needed to protect someone.

lovely thread op. for me it's my grandma without a doubt, one of the kindest most genuine people you will ever meet, she always looks on the bright side of life, takes everything in her stride and is always compassionate to everyone she meets and in all situations. I adore her, don't see her nearly as much as id like to as we live in different countries but when I do see or talk to her she brightens my whole day 🩷

Whatevershallidowithmylife · 26/03/2024 14:58

My mum!

paristotokyo · 26/03/2024 15:11

Best friend. She's lovely. Very thoughtful and kind. But also very hard on herself which I wish she'd stop. DH wouldn't be classed as the 'nicest' but definitely the best Smile
