Hi I joined a gym but they didn't do a proper induction and I'm not sure I'm doing the right things. It's part of a college so not very professional but it's cheap and has decent equipment.

This is what I'm doing
15 mins fast walk on treadmill
15 mins exercise bike
5 mins stair climber
Chest press 12 x 3
Shoulder press 12 x 3
Leg press 15 x 3
Leg curl 12 x 3

I've literally just used the machines that were free and that I worked out how to use 🙈 Wondered if anyone had a one hour routine I can nick.

Good on you!

I'm no expert.

First up - you don't need to do treadmill, bike & stair climbing. They are all cardio, so choose one! Do for 30-45 minutes. Personally, I like the treadmill & I add an incline to mine to make it more challenging.

Weight wise, focus on a particular muscle group, for example shoulders, chest & back. Then do 3 sets, with 12-15 reps, depending on weight. Less weight = more reps. Heavier weight = less reps.Or triceps & biceps & abs.

You can focus on lower body, such as squats, lunges etc.

I don't necessarily go to a gym these days as I have dumb bells, kettle bells of varying weight at home. I you tube workout routines.

I like Caroline too. MadFit & Fitbymik are also really good too.
