Bet way to pass the time between jobs?

I've handed in my notice, but between the ambiguity of my last day (could be this week, could be next, nothing yet from HR) and it being a slow week, I've found myself not doing a lot, but also in a "limbo".
I'm tempted to not sign in at all, and just be on my phone in case anything comes up.
Would that be terrible of me?

I'd sign in and type up some handover notes just in case anyone needs to know anything, shift any files over to the shared drives, find any company property you might need to return, that kind of thing.

Get in touch with anyone you might want to stay in touch with and connect with them on LinkedIn or similar.

Definitely don't burn your bridges because you never know when you might run into people again in future or need them as a reference.

Yeah I'm kind of doing that, not enough to cover 8 hours though!
