Mediation and visualisation

Hello All, I’m currently doing mediation to feel more love for myself and attract a loving relationship. Has anyone done this or any form of mediation and succeeded? I’m very new to mediation so anyone explain how to do it properly I currently follow YouTube videos.

There's lots of research that shows that meditation can help reduce stress and improve self esteem. A basic premise of Buddhist meditation is that you need to learn to love yourself first, before you can truly love others. Personally I don't agree with manifestation, but if you're looking for recommendations on 'love meditations' (also sometimes called metta or loving kindness meditation) try the Plum Village app. It's free, developed by Buddhist monks (but can easily be used by people of any faith or no faith) and has some really lovely 'love meditations' that may help you start to build more love for yourself. Yes I do this, done it for years and it has changed my life. I feel much better and much less self blaming. I met new friends and now happily married. I also used you tube, but I live near Citavivecca and that's handy. It's a new life
