… sometimes think, omg, I’ve committed to this person forever? I love my DH billions but occasionally think wow, that’s it now, (hopefully) no more first dates or meeting anyone else, me and him doing life for decades to come if we are lucky.
I am perfectly happy with him and in our marriage and would marry him again tomorrow but my friend looked at me like I had two heads when I said the above and said she can’t imagine ever thinking that. It’s made me feel really bad?!
I’m also pregnant and thinking of how much life will change for both of us and what a commitment that is so maybe it’s that adding to it too!
