St Chris School in Letchworth

Does anyone have any feedback or experience of St Chris School in Letchworth? I am considering it for my son to join in Y9. Thank you!

I have a son in year 7 who’s been at the school since he was 3. We absolutely love it and he is really happy with a great group of friends!

I grew up in Letchworth and never heard a bad word about the school. I didn't go, but know someone who did and she loved it. It has a more relaxed vibe than most schools, I think.

Thank you. This is helpful! We are going to visit the school next month. Does anyone know of any other similar school in London or on the outskirts, with similar ethis to St Chris? I have a boy currently really struggling in mainstream secondary and needs a smaller, more relaxed and caring environment. We live in West London but would consider boarding or moving. Son is 13 and will be going into Y9 in September 24. Thank you!

You could look at Sherrardswood in Welwyn. It is non selective, not too pushy academically but I think still produces good results
