My grapes are unsettlingly large

I've never seen bigger grapes. Just eaten one and it was a strange experience. Like eating a tiny but very juicy apple.

Will go back to my first choice of sable grapes I think!

I had some green grapes like this the other week. Really enjoyed them though.

just before Covid we went back to my motherland as we have property there.

We were talking re crops as many in the area farmed and a couple of people told us, "you leave a tomoatoe in the fridge one night and the next day when you open the fridge it has grown. They were not joking as many were breaking the rules there and putting in too much ferlizer/etc into the ground to get bigger crops as well as bulls and cows.

I had some huge ones last week! One even had an extra head growing. I threw that one away

I like them massive and with an audible bite to them. Marks and Spencer's green ones are like that. Lovely.

Ds6 said they tasted funny.

Sainsburys red seedless ones are ginormous at the moment and somehow delicious despite being quite watery in flavour.

Obviously I know sold by weight so will get fewer giant ones but, even so, there's hardly any!

Ohhh I love a massive grape. Slice up eaten with a slice of cold, not quite ripe banana.

I bought some large grapes recently. When I got home I discovered that they weren't seedless, so I spent the week cutting them in half and deseeding them for lunches otherwise DD wouldn't eat them. 🙄
