Yes will pursue physio, once it has started to heal a bit. Will follow advice from the dr.

Every sympathy OP, it’s absolute agony, good luck there is no quick fix, Google some exercises that will help, and see physio. I hope you feel better soon.

Adhesive capsulitis? Can you lift that arm above the horizontal? I had it in both shoulders, not simultaneously thank god. Dr said it might just fade away 18 months - 2 years. Which it did though I still have less movement. Cold comfort right now I know. I used frozen peas in a towel. Seemed to help.

I've had physiotherapy for almost a year, cortisol injections. I tried Volterol cream and deep heat. I tried ice which made it worse. Then I had a plug in heated throw which I drape around my shoulders which helps. Dreadfully painful at night as I can't sleep on my back die to bad asthma and it's incredibly painful sleeping on we other side as I have the pain in both shoulders. I've now on the waiting list for a pain management course. How did you get operation? Did you get a RMI scan first? I'd love the operation.

I was also given Nortriptyline 40 mg.

Amazon have rotator cuff shoulder supports, I wore sometimes in the day but always every night, I was able to sleep on my good side without my bad side dropping down, kept everything in alignment. Poor you, I never want to have another shoulder injury again, took about 18 mths to heal completely, no surgery.
