What the hell is wrong with me?

I had a chest infection start of March, had steroids and antibiotics.

I have the cough on and off still, and sometimes pain when I cough.

The main issue is I have had a headache and a temperature that will comes and goes, I haven't got an appetite and I keep having to sleep during the day and have been going to bed at 8pm. I have had a week's annual leave, feel rotten and I'm due to go back on Monday!

I'm trying to get a GP appointment but struggling.

Sounds like a virus or the flu, but chest pain could be pleurisy or you could even have pneumonia, especially if the antibiotics haven't killed off whatever it was.

I did wonder about pleurisy or pneumonia but I dont have much of a cough anymore! It's the headache and tiredness I really want to get rid of

My daughter and her 3 teenage kids are onto week six of it.
She's coughing so much she's fainting with lack of oxygen. They are vomiting when coughing. Temperature up/ down.
Had antibiotics/ steroids.. nothing working.. GP says to ride it out.. should be gone by week 10.🤷‍♀️.
The 100 day virus/ whooping cough.. l honestly think since covid we are going to get more of these.
I've stayed away from them.

Adult DD has something very similar. Doc said it was flu. She ended up in A&E 3 times with breathing issues.

Took about 10 weeks to get better.

If it was pleurisy, trust me, you'd know about it!
