Could this be bedbugs?

I'm freaking out.

In my job I visit people's homes. A client had bedbugs several months back, and got the all clear. He has since moved to different accommodation.

I visited him a week and a half ago. I put my bag on his chair, which had cushions he'd bought from his previous flat.

At home, I keep my bag on the carpeted floor by my work from home desk. I've noticed a few tiny itchy bumps on my ankles, maybe three over the last week.

I'm so worried that there's bedbugs in the carpet from my bag. Would they have spread throughout my house now? No one else in the family had itchy bumps, and none of thr classic signs in the bedding.

Could be fleas… from visiting someone with pets (work or otherwise). No idea on bedbugs, no experience, but flea bites are raised and itchy. On the ankle would be a normal flea bite site too.

Thanks @OzziePopPop. I did see visit someone with a cat last week. A new bite appeared today. So perhaps there's fleas under my desk 😫

I'd say ankles it's fleas.
Bedbugs tend to strike at night.
Try indorex spray on your carpets.
If you don't have any cats or dogs any fleas will die. They can bite you but can't reproduce on your blood.
