Is it worth visiting a Wildlife Park when it's raining?

I appreciate this is a random question.

I've never visited a Wildlife Park before, mainly because I've never been convinced they are ethical etc. Anway. DC have been asking to go to one for ages and I've caved and agreed to take them during the Easter Holidays. I've just see it's likely to rain all day on the date we planned to visit. Is it worth visiting during inclement weather? I'm not sure if the rain impacts how likely the animals are to appear.

No, I don't have much wildlife knowledge so bear with me if the question seems silly.

DC will be disappointed if they don't see any but more importantly I don't want to waste an hour driving around an empty park. There is an indoor soft play and a foot safari but that alone isn't really worth the 2 hour drive and ££ ticket price.

Depends on the park, if it also mentions having reptiles, bugs, amphibians, smaller mammal species like meerkat, bats etc. than yes because all of those will be housed in indoor exhibits that you will walk through. Also birds aren’t too bothered by rain. To be fair larger animals probably won’t be too bothered either unless it’s completely tipping it down.

Is it peak wildlife park? If so it's definitely worth a visit. We went on a bitterly cold and windy day but we still had a great time, we saw all the animals.
