Offered a job in the NHS but another interview next week that I want more

Hi, can anyone help me please?
I've been offered a post in the NHS (admin) after an interview this week 🎉. I accepted it.

However, I had also applied for another post at the same time (not NHS) but only heard back about interviews until today. I've been shortlisted and invited to interview next week. It's quite a bit more money and hybrid working etc which would suit me hugely.

IF (and it's a big IF), I was offered the other job too, am I in any way
tied in to the NHS post?

No contracts have been signed, but I verbally accepted it to the lady who interviewed me.

Thanks so much

No. You can still tell the NHS manager you have changed your mind

No.
Plenty of people decline the job after initially accepting a position. It won’t be an issue.

Oh that's brilliant.
I'd feel a bit bad, but if I got the 2nd job I'd be silly not to take it.

But I'd also be mad to turn down the job I have actually been offered just in case I get the other!

Based on dsis experience of working for the NHS I'd be praying that you get offered the other job, dsis lasted a month, she says never again.
You can just decline the NHS role, you're not tied into them.

In my experience the NHS will take weeks to get organised and send anything like contracts/courses etc anyway so you won’t be tied in anytime soon!
