10 year old Dd came down in the night with obvious tonsillitis.
Took her to our prescribing pharmacy at 9am (several where I am offer this service), pharmacist examined her, diagnosed tonsillitis and we walked out with penicillin 10 minutes later.
I am so glad they can do this now. It makes everything so much easier, no trying and most of the time failing to get a drs appointment, no waiting for 111 to call back.
Pharmacist was saying that they wish they could cover more illnesses.
So just incase anyone didn’t realise they could do this - it’s so much easier.
