Improving diet one meal at a time

I'm trying to improve my diet and I would like to do one meal a week. Thought I would start with breakfast. Anyone want to join me? I currently have either a fruit bagel with butter and honey, greek yoghurt and honey, toast or cereal. I was thinking of trying to fit in savoury breakfasts so I don't get the sugar rush. Any ideas?

Not for everyone but I love tinned plum tomatoes with balsamic vinegar and black pepper with a poached egg.

I love overnight oats. For 3 of us, I blend 100g oats with 300ml milk (coconut at the moment) and add a banana, a tbsp cocoa powder and a little bit of maple syrup, then top with raspberries.

poached egg on toast, either spread with marmite or with butter-cooked mushrooms

I’m also a fan of overnight oats, I do 2 tbsp oats, mix with around 3tbsp milk, top with some yoghurt and then frozen berries.

Poached eggs on wholemeal toast is good for when you have more time.

Cocoa powder in overnight oats is a good idea. I never think to just do a boiled egg. That's a great idea and doesn't need watching. Greek yoghurt and honey left me hungry by 11.

I do porridge with cinnamon, flaxseeds and oat milk. At first I missed the sugar (I'd normally put honey on porridge) but now I'm totally used to it.

Eggs on toast is my go to breakfast when I have more time.

I often have half an avocado on toast with a poached egg and some fried tomatoes/mushrooms (bit of chilli too). Only takes as long as the toast to do the egg and tomatoes.

Peanut butter on sourdough toast.

Like an omelette/or kippers/smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at the weekend.

Poached eggs on toast

marmite on toast with tomatoes.

sardines on toast.

Well just made my first poached egg and it was much easier than I thought. Definitely think that will go on my list.
