Age to be in audience family TV

DS has been waiting 4 years to be in the audience of a show he loves. You need to be 8 years old and I think he will be 7 years and 11 months by the time the show films (he's very very well behaved)
Will they check his age? I'm worried they'll cancel the show before the next filming and he'll never get to go.

Nah. I've got my kids and gcs into loads of things when they're a couple of months short of the age limit. As long as they don't want ID and it's a couple of months off you'll be OK

We were in the audience for Gladiators and I didn't see anyone asking the ages of the children when we collected our tickets. I imagine they wouldn't bother checking unless the child looked much younger, I expect it's to stop there being babies/toddlers in the audience.

Make sure you read the audience info fully though. When we got our Gladiators 'tickets' they weren't actually tickets, you had to swap them at the venue for actual seated tickets, first come first served on the day. There was also restrictions on what you could wear and bring into the venue etc.

Good luck!
